In a networking practice session, a participant's microphone was muted even though it worked when she tested it before the event began.  Is this because she was on an iPad or cell phone?   She was also not able to “unmute.”  Any suggestions as to why this occurred?

Pretty sure this happened because she was on a mobile device. Sometimes this bug also appears when using bluetooth headsets.

When this bug appears on computers you can try to reload the entire browser and change settings in the systems sound control.

Also I wouldn’t recommend using hopin in mobile browsers, that’s what the app was made for, even though it still has some problems it’s working much better than the browsers for mobile devices.
